Purpose and Expectations

• The Kelowna Business Development Network is a business networking and referral group that meets every Friday morning.
• Attendance will be taken at every meeting and it is suggested that members try and attend every week or send a replacement.
• The suggested minimum attendance is 75% or approximately 1 absence per month.
• The objective of this referral group is to grow the business of its members.  Only one member from each business category will be allowed to belong to this group.
• It is recommended that members not belong to other referral groups that meet more than once per month.
• It is suggested that members provide 5 activities a month to the group.  Qualifying activities are bringing visitors that are eligible to join and providing referrals to another member.
• All activities will be tracked.

• Your application will be reviewed by an executive member of the group.
• Upon qualifying your eligibility, your entrance into the group will be based on a vote by all group members, with a simply majority required.
• A material shortfall in activities in the club, or, any conduct, past or present, that is considered to be unbecoming for the reputation of the group, will be grounds for termination of membership in the Kelowna Business Development Network.
• If termination is being considered by the Executive, a vote will be held with the group to determine your continued membership, with a simple majority required.
